Gildon Ray Glidewell
Age 75, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2013 at his home in New Lenox. He was born and raised in Arkansas, coming to New Lenox in 1970. He was employed by Caterpillar in 1956, working there until he retired in 1994. Survived by his loving wife of 56 years, JoAnn; four cherished children, Tim (Mae), Scott (Diana), Randy and Pam (Jim); seven grandchildren, Jackie, Brandon, Jeremy, Kayla, Bryan, Katie and Jake; two step grandchildren, Jason and Brenna; one great grandchild, Madalynn. In lieu of flowers, donations to the JOHA Cancer Care, Joliet or Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated. Family will receive friends at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox IL 60451 on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 from 3-8PM. Funeral Service on Wednesday at 11:00AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Maplewood Cemetery, New Lenox.
