RAYMOND C. ANDERSON

Age 88, of Lockport, passed away Tuesday, May 1st, 2018 at Senior Star at Weber Place in Romeoville.

A lifelong Lockport resident, Ray graduated University of Illinois in Chemical Engineering at age 19 and after service in the Panama Canal Zone with the Army Corps of Engineers and a Master's degree from Illinois Institute of Technology, joined CPC International. He assisted in the startup of food processing plants in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Barcelona, Spain, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and elsewhere.

Ray was a ham radio operator, history buff, and scratch golfer. He is preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Enoch Anderson and Agnes Minerva Anderson, and a sister, Mildred Anderson Geuther. He is survived by a niece, Gwynne Geuther of New Lenox, Il and a nephew, Gregory Geuther of Chicago.

Family will receive friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton Street, Lockport, IL 60441on Thursday, May 3rd, 2018 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral service, Friday, May 4th, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment, Woodlawn Memorial Park, Joliet, IL.
