Reinier Heyne

REINIER HEYNE

Age 92, of Eureka, formerly of Frankfort, passed away on Monday, March 6th, 2023.

Reinier is survived by his loving family, children, Catherine (Matthew) Gregait, Melissa (Jeff Angellotti) Heyne, Debbie Clancy, Greg (Kim) Heyne, grandchildren, Tommy Angellotti, Noah Gregait, Rachel Gregait, Zachary Heyne, Aden Clancy and Emilia Heyne.

Reinier was preceded in death by his parents, Hendrikus & Gertrude Heyne (Elferinck) and wife Theresa Heyne (Dunn).

Reinier was a United States Army Veteran, former member of the Knights of Columbus and active in several church communities. He was a lifelong Chicago Cub’s fan and greatly enjoyed puzzles.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Saturday, March 11th, 2023 from 1:00 PM to time of the funeral service at 3:00 PM. Interment with full military honors at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood IL on Monday, March 13th, 2023 at 10:30 AM. PLEASE ARRIVE TO THE CEMETERY BY 10:15 AM.
