Renee A. Wiedman

Renee Wiedman, 88, of New Lenox, Il, formerly of Guttenberg, IA, passed away peacefully January 7th, 2018 with her family by her side.

Renee was born in Guttenberg, IA on September 1,1929. She graduated with a nursing degree from University of Iowa and then later married Jerome Wiedman.

She was a caring nurse for many years, devoted member of Peace Lutheran Church and a member of the Guttenberg Chapter of The Eastern Star. Renee loved being surrounded by her family, had many friends, and touched all those who met her with kindness, love, and affection.

She was preceded in death by her spouse, Jerome Wiedman and brother Rodney Tangeman. Surviving are her brother Robyn (Dorothy) Tangeman, Guttenberg, IA, children Kip (Adrienne) Wiedman of Santee, CA, Kristen (Jeffrey) Acquaviva of Manteno, IL, Kirk (Patricia) Wiedman of Fernandina Beach, FL, Karla (Quentin) Marshall of Mount Vernon, IA, 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
