Reuben J. Stolhammar

Reuben J. Stolhammar, age 92 of Chicago passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2015. He is survived by his loving wife Doris (nee Green); beloved brother of Kenneth (Signora) and Donald (Donna) and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Ruth (nee Carlson) Stolhammar; sisters Evelyn (late George) Armstrong and Mabel (late Willie) Blomberg. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps serving in WWII a member of Heritage Baptist Church, Frankfort, a member of the South Side Choral Group and former member of South Shore Baptist Church in Chicago for many years where he also served as a Sunday School Teacher. Family will receive friends on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Heritage Baptist Church 21739 S. LaGrange Rd, Frankfort IL 60423 from 10:00am until time of funeral service at 1:00PM. Interment Monday June 1, 2015 10:00am Oak Hill Cemetery, Chicago, IL. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Heritge Christian School would be appreciated.
