Rhonda K. Wilson

Rhonda K. Wilson, 63, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, formerly of New Lenox, Illinois, passed away at 11:08 am July 3, 2022 at her residence in Mount Vernon. She was born January 28, 1959 in Hammond, Indiana to the late Robert and Kyveli (Papasoglou) Deforest. Rhonda married Daniel Wilson and he preceded her in death in March of 2018.

Rhonda is survived by her sons, Alex Wilson of Springville, Pennsylvania and Adam Wilson of Monroe Township, Pennsylvania; grandson, Cohen Wilson; brother, Ronald DeForest of Mount Vernon, Illinois; and sisters, Roberta DeForest of Costa Rica, Yvette Sorensen of Mount Vernon, Illinois.

Rhonda enjoyed gardening and loved taking family pictures. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd. New Lenox on Wednesday, July 13 2022 from 10:00am until time of Memorial Service at 11:00am. Inurnment to follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
