RICH PABST

Age 91, of Frankfort, passed away Friday, April 11th, 2025 at his home in Frankfort.

Rich is survived by his loving family, wife, Nijole “Niji” Pabst (Stanevicius), children, Patrick (Linda) Pabst, Kathleen Pabst, Richard (Lori) Stanevicius, Kristin (Adolfo) Aguilar, sibling, Allen (Doris) McGrew, grandchildren, Paul Pabst, Elizabeth Doucette, Teeg Pabst, Brianna Stanevicius, Casey Flesch, Trevor Stanevicius, Sofia Aguilar, Bella Aguilar, great grandchildren, Mason Doucette, Olivia Doucette, Phillipp Pabst, Grace Pabst, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and beloved pet Charlotte.

Rich was preceded in death by his parents, Emery & Eleanor Pabst (Stahl), siblings, Robert Pabst, Dennis Pabst and Butch McGrew.

Rich had 44 years of sobriety with Alcohol Anonymous; he was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Frankfort, a member of CMA Motorcycle Club, M&M Motorcycle Club and a member of the Wednesday Morning Breakfast Club. Rich retired from Katz & Katz Realty and was a Jazz Musician who greatly enjoyed music and performing. He loved his motorcycle and driving his Tahoe. Rich loved all holiday family gatherings and especially spending time with his grandchildren.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Tuesday, April 22nd, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral service, Wednesday, April 23rd, 2025 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 AM and then to St. Anthony Catholic Church, 7659 W. Sauk Trail, Frankfort, IL 60423 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment, St. Casimir Catholic Cemetery, Chicago. In lieu of flowers, donations to PAWS of Tinley Park, Doctors Without Borders or Anew Shelter in Homewood would be greatly appreciated.
