RICHARD M. WRIGHT

Age 64, of New Lenox, passed away Monday, November 1st, 2021 the Chicago University of Medicine.

Richard is survived by his loving family, wife, Patricia “Pat” Wright (Maloy), daughter, Ashley Coccaro, grandson, Jaxson Coccaro, siblings, John (Liza) Wright, Cynthia (Michael) Ward and Linda (Tim) Bowen, mother & father in law, Peter & Vileda Maloy, brothers and sisters in law, Mary (John) Callaghan, Michael Maloy, Robert (Denise) Maloy, Eileen (Dan) Kachaturoff, Robert Harsy and numerous nieces and nephews.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore & Edith Wright (Liebert) and sister in law Lynn Harsy.

Richard was a car enthusiast and greatly enjoyed car racing; in his younger years he raced in the midget series; he enjoyed supporting and attending his grandson Jaxson’s school and sporting events.

Family will receive friends, at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 East Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451 on Sunday, November 7th, 2021 from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Funeral service Monday, November 8th, 2021 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30AM and then to St. Jude Catholic Church, 241 W. 2nd Avenue, New Lenox, IL 60451 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment, Maplewood Cemetery, New Lenox, IL.
