94, of Tinley Park, Passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, March 9, 2014. Rita was born in Chicago to the late James and Cathryn (nee Griffin) Costello. Rita retired from Swift & Co. Meats after 40 years of service. She was a member of St. Julie Catholic Church, Tinley Park. She was the Loving Aunt of Thomas J. (the late Mona) Costello; Dear Great Aunt of Thomas J. III (Stacey) Costello; Cherished Great - Great Aunt of Lauren Anne and Alexis Elizabeth Costello; Loving Sister of the late Thomas J. Costello. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451 on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral service, Thursday, March 13, 2014 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:15AM then to St. Julie Catholic Church, Tinley Park, IL 60477 for a Mass of Christian Burial 10:00AM. Interment Mount Olivet Cemetery, Chicago.
