81, of Kankakee, formerly of Homer Township passed away Thursday, November 2, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. Bob was born in Chicago to the late Helen Gryczewski. Beloved husband of the Donna (nee Fabrie); loving father of Robert (Kimberly), David (Anne), Steve (Sue), and Elizabeth (Ralph) Credio; stepfather of Denise (Dean) Schroeder, Cheryl (Gerald) Kampenga, and Joseph Ryan; cherished grandfather of Amanda, Angela, David, the late Ashley, Jessica, Kaitlin, Courtney, David, Rebecca, Lauren, Alison, Joey, Melissa, Michael, Nicole and Alexis; great grandfather of Layla, Payton, Raegan, Bianca, Baylee, Abigail, DJ, Ella, and Cooper; dear sister of Patsy (Loren) Vreeman. Bob was Owner/Operator of Triplex Marine, New Lenox, a U.S. Army Veteran, and an avid fisherman. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox on Friday, November 10, 2017 from 3 – 8pm. Funeral Service Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 10:00am in the funeral home chapel. Private interment with honors will be held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
