79, late of New Lenox, formerly of Hickory Hills, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2013 at his home. Born in Chicago to the late John and Katherine Mankowske. Beloved husband of Marilyn (nee Lexow), Loving Father of Robert (Kimberly) Mankowske and John Mankowske; Cherished Papa of Lynn and Kristi Mankowske; Dear Brother of the late William Mankowske. Bob was employed by Electro-Motive for 30 years. He was a U.S. Air Force Korean War Veteran. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451on Thursday, May 23, 2013 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral Service Friday, May 24, 2013 at 9:30AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
