Robert "Bob" Randolph
Age 88, of Joliet formerly of New Lenox passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2012. He is survived by his Loving wife Helen "Jean" (nee McNiff) Randolph; beloved father of Robert D. (Linda) II, Dennis (Mary Anne) and John (Julie) Randolph; cherished grandfather of Kris, Melody, Jennifer, Dennis, Bobby, Katie, Joe, Eric, Melissa, and Michelle; dearest great grandfather of 15 and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Louis and Antoneete (nee Zupancik) Randolph and his brothers Louis, Dick and Charles Randolph. He was a veteran of the United States Marines serving in the Battle of Midway, retired from Illinois Bell and a former volunteer for the New Lenox Fire Department, a member of the VFW and American Legion in New Lenox and Joliet Moose #300, he was inducted into the Mazon/Grundy County Racing Hall of Fame in 2008. Family will receive friends at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd. New Lenox, IL 60451 on Friday, December 14, 2012 from 10:00am until time of funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 1:00pm. Interment Maplewood Cemetery, New Lenox, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to Joliet Area Community Hospice or New Lenox Fire Department would be appreciated.
