ROBERT J. FILEWICZ

Age 60, of New Lenox, passed away on Sunday, December 1st, 2024 at Hinsdale Hospital. 

Robert is survived by his loving family, wife, Janet Filewicz (Schrik), sons, Joseph Filewicz, Ryan Filewicz, Matthew Filewicz and numerous cousins. 

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph & Frances Filewicz (Chochrek) and sister, Sue (late Elmer) Wessel. 

Robert was a former member of St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Chicago and St. Jude Catholic Church in South Holland and current member of St. Jude Catholic Church in New Lenox where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He loved fishing, cars, bowling, antiques, collectables and mostly spending time with his family.

Family will receive friends at St. Jude Catholic Church, 241 W. 2nd Avenue, New Lenox, IL 60451 on Saturday, December 14th, 2024 from 9:00 AM until time of the mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Kidney Fund would be greatly appreciated. 

Interment will be private.
