Robert J. Persak, age 78, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at Silver Cross Hospital.
Robert is survived by his loving wife Beth (nee Boone) Persak; children, Emily Atwood, Dana Norton, Donna Trapp, and Deana Dalla-Costa; and numerous grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Stella (nee Bobczyk) Persak; his son Bobby Persak; and his beloved black lab Maggie.
Robert will be remembered for loving his garden and growing many kinds of vegetables. He also enjoyed tinkering around the house. He enjoyed helping others any chance that he got. He will be missed by all that knew him.
A memorial visitation for Robert will be held on Friday, December 3rd, 2021 at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road in New Lenox, from 4pm-8pm. Robert will be laid to rest at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery at a later date.
