ROBERT J. STRANDBERG

Age 69, of Peotone, passed away on Saturday, December 24th, 2022 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee.

Robert is survived by his loving family, daughter, Becky (Miles) Brown, granddaughters, Delanie Brown, Shealyn Brown, siblings, Dory (Chuck) Grosche, Shirley Strandberg and Peggy (Gary) Grizzle.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice & Marie Strandberg (Berkley).

Robert, an electrician by trade as a brother of IBEW Local #134 Electrical Workers Union, he was more than just a dedicated employee, he bonded with many of his coworkers over the years. More commonly known as Bob, Bobby or lovingly by many as Big Papa. A larger than life personality, Bob was always at home cooking or anywhere in the great outdoors. He could be found enjoying The Palos Sportmans Club in Frankfort, a home away from home.

A family man, at countless parties and events, he enjoyed being around his siblings, friends and family alike. However, above anything and everything he lived for his grandkids, he simply adored them. He will be eternally missed.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
