84, of New Lenox, passed away Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Sunrise of Naperville. Robert was born in Springfield, KY to the late Stanley W. and Mary Catherine “Kathryn” (nee Riley) Elliott. Beloved husband of the late Beverly Ann (nee Jones): loving father of Diane (Brian) Bates; cherished grandfather of Brandon (Julie) Bates, and Colin (Cydney) Bates; proud great grandfather of Olivia, Kaia, and Jarrett Bates. Robert was a retired Grounds Maintenance Mechanic with Delta Airlines. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Robert’s name to Sunrise of Naperville 960 East Chicago Ave., Naperville, IL 60540 or VITAS Hospice would be appreciated. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, New Lenox on Thursday, March 25, 2021 from 3pm – 8pm. Funeral Service Friday, March 26, 2021 at 10:00am in the funeral home chapel. Interment Skyline Memorial Park, Monee, IL. Social distancing and masks are MANDATORY for ALL in attendance. No food is allowed in the funeral home.
