Robert G. Molyneaux

Robert G. Molyneaux, age 91, of Frankfort, IL passed away Friday, November 15, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Marilyn Molyneaux; loving father of Michele (Todd) Furlong, and Mark Molyneaux; cherished grandfather of Troy Furlong, and Trent Furlong; and several nieces and nephews.

Robert was born in Chicago Heights to the late Willis and Alice (nee Ohrt) Molyneaux. He is preceded in death by his dear siblings, Louise Smith and David Molyneaux.

Robert was an affectionate, dedicated and hardworking individual who always put the needs of others ahead of him. He retired after 36 years as General Foreman at Chicago Heights Steel. Robert was an army veteran, having served his country in the Korean War.

In his retirement he enjoyed golfing, traveling to Florida and spending time with family and friends. Robert will be missed by all who knew and loved him. The family would like to thank Lightways Hospice for their wonderful and compassionate care.

Services for Robert will take place on Friday, November 22, 2024 with a memorial visitation at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 7659 W Sauk Trail, in Frankfort from 10am until the time of Mass at 11am
