ROBERT P. BROWN

Age 83, of New Lenox, passed away Sunday, September 19th, 2021 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.

Robert is survived by his loving family, wife, Rita Brown (Wisniewski), children, James (Jean) Brown, Kim (Ron) Newcomb, Sheri (Joseph) Milloy, Dawn Garcia, Jennifer (Dennis) Mensching, daughter in-law, Antonina Brown, sister in-laws, Arlene Brown, Janice (Robert) Konow, grandchildren, Jamie, Megan, Lauren, Andrew, Mark, Caitlyn, Shannon, Tiffany, Ronald, Nicholas, Tabitha, Jessica, Alisha, Rachel, Kathleen, Michaela, Charity, William, 19 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Ruth Patton (Childers), son, Michael Brown, grandson, Shane, siblings, Alline Hall, Kenneth Brown and mother and father in-law, Adam & Martha Wisniewski.

Robert was a United States Army Veteran; in his younger years he was a member of the Boy Scouts of America (Life Scout). He was a retired Chicago Police Officer, a member of the Moose, Fraternal Order of Police and Revolution Church in Manhattan. Robert was also an avid Chicago Cubs fan.

Family will receive friends at Revolution Church, 24520 Manhattan Road, Manhattan, IL 60442 on Thursday, September 23rd 2021 from 2:00 PM until time of funeral service at 7:00 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be greatly appreciated.
