Robert S. Diehl

Robert S. Diehl, age 82 a resident of Frankfort formerly of Mokena, passed away at his home on Tuesday, September 28, 2021. Loving husband of Karen Diehl (Sorrentino); dearest father of Keith (Carolyn) Diehl, Robert (Barb) Diehl, Colleen (Gary) Benson, Brian (Jodi) Diehl, Michael (Jean) Diehl and Christopher Diehl; beloved brother of the late William ( late Lola) Diehl, late Louise Diehl and late George ( late Karen) Diehl; cherished grandfather of Amanda, Ryne, Sammy, Hillary, Allison, Wyatt, Kelsie, Kristen. Rocco and Zachary. Robert was a veteran of the United States Army, he worked as a truck driver for Santa Fe for 32 years retiring in 2000. He loved his dogs Peanut, Abby and Sara. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Lightways Hospice would be appreciated. Inurnment with military honors will be held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood at a later date.
