Age 94, a lifelong Joliet area resident passed away on Friday, January 18, 2013. Loving husband of the late Frances (nee Scholp) Donnelly; beloved father of Ralph (Sue) Donnelly; dearest grandfather of Debbra (David) Petke, Rick (Colleen) Donnelly and Barbra (Anthony) Coleman and proud great grandfather of 11. Robert was a member of Ridgewood Baptist Church in Joliet serving the church in several different capacities. He traveled the country using his expertise to help develop stainless steel propellers to help protect our country during WW II. Family will receive friends at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road New Lenox IL 60451 on Sunday, January 20, 2013 from 2-6pm. Funeral Service Monday, January 21, 2013 in the funeral home chapel at 10:00am. Interment will follow to Woodlawn Memorial Park in Joliet. In lieu of flowers, donations to Ridgewood Baptist Church would be appreciated.
