ROBERTO "BOBBY" LARA, JR.

Age 41, of Harvey, passed away Sunday, December 17th, 2017.

Bobby is survived by his loving family, wife, Melinda Lara (Villanueva), children, Roberto Lara III, Marissa Lara, Bella Lara, parents, Roberto & Martha Lara, Sr. (Ortiz), granddaughter, Gabriella Lara, brother, Gabe (Beatriz) Lara, nieces, Jaslene Lara, Viviana Lara, nephew and Godson, Diego Lara and uncle and Godfather, Sal Lara.

Bobby was a 1994 graduate of Carl Sandburg High School and a graduate of Cordon Bleu Culinary School.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451, on Thursday, December 21st, 2017 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral service, Friday, December 22nd, 2017 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:00 AM and then to St. Damian Catholic Church, 5300 W. 155th Street, Oak Forest, IL 60452 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM.
