Roger H. Peterson

Roger H. Peterson, age 81, a resident of Beecher, Illinois, formerly of Algonquin and Oak Lawn, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 30, 2020 at his home with his family by his side. Loving husband of Virginia Peterson (Hagstrom); beloved father of Jerry (Teri) Peterson, Wayne (Josie) Peterson and Michael (Patti) Peterson, Lynn (Howard) Saubert; cherished grandfather of Nicole Saubert, Howie (Kerry) Saubert, Andrew (Nicki) Peterson, Matthew (Jaime) Peterson, Gerald (Ruth) Peterson, Eric Peterson and Colleen (Jake) Bal; proud great grandfather of Ava, Jack, Hadley and Nathan. He was preceded in death by his parents Gilberte Albertine Peterson (Hamon) and Ernest Peterson. Roger was a member of the Builders T Golf Club, he enjoyed fishing, golfing, hunting, and loved his Green Bay Packers. Roger was a devoted father, grandfather and great friend to many. Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic a private family memorial service will be held and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Kankakee Valley Hospice would be appreciated.
