RONALD A. RIEDEL

Age 59, of Lockport, passed away on Monday, June 7th, 2021 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove.

Ronald is survived by his loving family, wife, Susan Riedel (Davis), children, Daniel Patrick Riedel, Angeline Lenore Riedel, mother, Judith Riedel (Jendras) siblings, George (Laura) Riedel, Judy Riedel, sisters in law, Darlene Riedel, Debbie Riedel and many nieces and nephews.

Ronald was preceded in death by his father, George Riedel, siblings Dennis Riedel and Gregory Riedel.

Ronald was a United States Navy Veteran who served during the Persian Gulf War; he was a loyal letter carrier for the Downers Grove Post Office for 23 years. Ronald loved his family and his many pets and greatly enjoyed spending time with them.

Family will receive friends Sunday, June 13th, 2021 from 2:00 PM until time of the funeral service at 7:00 PM at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the South Suburban Humane Society would be appreciated.
