Ronald W. Dahlin

Ronald W. Dahlin, age 76, a resident of Frankfort formerly of Bridgeview, Burbank and Tinley Park, passed away on Saturcday, July 10, 2021. Loving husband of Donna Dahlin (Schroeder); beloved father of Brian (Denise) Dahlin, Tracy (Shane) Schultz and Kelly (Dan) Herlihy; dearest brother of Randy Dahlin, Linda Zeigler, Corrine (Jeff) Hartman and Scott (April) Dahlin; cherished grandfather of Jake, Nick and Megan Dahlin, Eva and Owen Schultz, Danny, Breanna, Emily and Jadyn Herlihy; fond brother-in-law of Sandy Schroeder-Joy and Bev (Bob) Schuller; dear uncle of several nieces and nephews. Ronald coached little league baseball for Burbank National. Ron could always be found cheering on his grandchildren at their various sporting events and activities. He was always up for an adventure such as flying planes, zip-lining, paintball or extreme water fights. Ron loved sharing his talent and passion of art with many of his grandchildren. He was happiest when he was surrounded with his family and friends. Time to hit the road… A visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Tuesday, July 13 2021 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral service Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 9:30 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment with military honors to follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood.
