Age 68 passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Joliet Hospice Home with her loving family at her side. Rosanna was born on January 14, 1950 in Chicago to the late Gerald and Marie Schiavone (Rancatore). She married Roger Schneider on January 16, 1971 and worked at the Midwest Stock Exchange in accounting until the birth of their daughter Karrie. She was very actively involved with school activities and served as Room mother and Brownie Troop leader. In her later years she was an avid gardener, and was Sergeant-at-Arms for the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary in New Lenox, and worked closely with the President of the Auxiliary, Trudi Momsen McCormick. Rosanna is survived by her husband, Roger Schneider; daughter Karrie (Robert) Kirk; sister Catherine (late Dan) Cole; and numerous loving nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Sunday, August 26, 2018 from 10:00 AM until time of Memorial Service at 12:00 Noon.
