ROSE V. AMBROSINI
Age 95, born in Lemont, lifelong resident of Lockport, and lifelong parishioner of St. Dennis Church in Lockport. She had been living at Sunny Hill Nursing Home in Joliet for the past four years.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph & Maria Ambrosini, sisters, Josephine (Joseph) Zanin, Lillian (Peter) Chmielewski, Mary Ambrosini, brothers, Matt Ambrosini, Ferdinand "Aldo" (Edith) Ambrosini, John (Mary) Ambrosini, Sam (Ann) Ambrosini, nephew, John Ambrosini and niece Virginia Zanin.
Rose is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
Rose enjoyed gardening, going to church and having coffee with her friends. She worked many years at the Ace Hardware store in Lockport.
The family would like to thank the staff of Sunny Hill Nursing Home and the Joliet Area Community Hospice for the many hours they spent taking care of Rose.
Family will receive friends at St. Dennis Church, 1214 S. Hamilton Street, Lockport, IL 60441 on Monday, November 21st, 2016 from 9:00 AM until time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM.
