Sandra L. Butterfield 75, longtime resident of New Lenox IL was born in Joliet to the late James and Shirley Robbins and passed away April 15, 2025. Loving mother of Stephanie Whitman, and Ryan (Carissa Tonner) Butterfield; proud grandma of Cody (late Nicole Frye) Douthit, Sarah (Nate) Thornburg, and Dominic Whitman; dear sister of Kathleen (late Frank) Potter, James (late Mike) Robbins Jr., Bernadette (Ron Drendel) Robbins-Willey, Theresa (Thom) Walls, and Roberta (Billy) Bryan; special friend of Ray Sacco; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband Gregg Butterfield, and father James Robbins. Sandra was outgoing and was known to "always have a plan". She will always be known for her outgoing personality and love for life, as well as her "distinct" sense of style. A visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd New Lenox, IL on Saturday April 19, 2025 from 10am until time of service at 12pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Sandra's name to Lightways Hospice Joliet, IL AKA Joliet Area Community Hospice.
