Age 92 of Shorewood, formerly of Frankfort passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.

Shirley is survived by her loving family, daughter, Nancy (Lewis) House, siblings, Betty Lou Frelich, William (Joan) Elliott, grandchildren, Richard (Deborah) Satler, Robert W. (Iris) Strauch, Sandra Satler, great grandchildren, Danielle Satler, Caitlin Satler, Annike Strauch, Jake Strauch, Elle Strauch, Reid Strauch, Jaden Anderson and many nieces and nephews.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, George & Viola Elliott (Conley), husband, William Strauch, son, Robert W. Strauch and brother-in-law, Joseph Frelich.

Shirley was a longtime member of Central Presbyterian Church in New Lenox. She greatly enjoyed sewing; especially making clown dolls for many newborn babies. Shirley will always be remembered for spending her summers with her family and friends at Lake Marion in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423.
