Shirley M. Maslowski (nee Lager)

Age 83 of New Lenox passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at Ascension St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, IL.  Shirley was born in Chicago, IL to the late John and Bernice (nee Blake) Lager.   Beloved wife of the late Daniel Maslowski; loving mother of Daniel (the late Donna), Cathy (the late Leon) Boyes, Carolyn (Richard) Kipp and Cindy (Kevin) Heraty; cherished grandmother of Ashley (Nick) Bjork, Stephanie Maslowski, Andrew Maslowski, Victoria (Taylor) Artz, Nicole (Christian) Harmon, Brett Heraty, Kendall Heraty and Casey Heraty; proud great grandmother of Daniel, Jacob, Aubrey, Theodore, Jaxson, Harper, and Lily; dear sister of Mary Therese (Aud) Krygeris. Shirley worked in Food Service at the Chicago Public Schools retiring in 1995.  She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.  Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL on Monday, February 12, 2024, from 3pm – 8pm. Funeral Service Tuesday with 11:00am prayers at the funeral home to St. Jude Catholic Church, New Lenox, IL for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30AM. Interment private.
