82, of Mokena, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Sophia was born in Chicago to the late Lambros and Koula (nee Vambakas) Kladis. Beloved wife of the late Steve N. Dokianos; Loving mother of Maryann (Daniel) Hancock, Nicholas (fiancée Mary Casto) Dokianos and Christopher (Maria) Dokianos; Cherished Yia Yia of Elisabeth (Patrick) Broderick, Brian (Krystin) Hancock, Victoria and Gabriele Dokianos and Tim Casto; Great Yia Yia of Jacob and Joshua Broderick and Camron, Ella and Miles Hancock; Dear sister of the late Frocene (the late Nick) Pitsoulakis, Mary (James) Maroudas and John Kladis; Fond Aunt of many nieces and nephews; Dear friend of Nell Kladis. Sophia was the owner of S&S Paints in Mokena for 20 years. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL, 60451 on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 from 3-8 PM with a Trisagion Service at 5:00PM. Funeral Service will be at 10:00AM on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at St Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, Oak Lawn. Interment Evergreen Cemetery, Evergreen Park.
