Staff Sergeant Domenic C. Andreoni age 30, of Elgin IL, formerly of Twentynine Palms and Camp Pendleton CA, raised in Mokena, IL. passed away suddenly on Friday, December 2, 2016. Loving husband of Cicely (nee McChesney) Andreoni, cherished father to daughter Ryan, beloved son of Ceasar and Colleen (nee Carter) Andreoni; dearest brother of Tricia (Paul) Boskey and Laura Greco; fond son-in-law of Todd and Rosalie McChesney; proud uncle of Isabella and Colin Boskey and Luca and Gino Greco; dear nephew of Cecilia J. Tacks, Beverly Greco and Patrick (JoAnn) McDonald and family; great nephew of Nancy (late William) Werschin. A 2004 graduate of LincolnWay East High School, Frankfort IL and a member of the Boys Volleyball team. He enlisted in the Marine Corps as an Amphibious Assault Vehicle Crewman. He served with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit in Okinawa Japan, and a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. He was most recently assigned in Chicago as a Marine Corps Career Recruiter. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 from 2:00PM until 9:00PM. Funeral service on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 in the funeral home chapel at 11:00AM. Interment with full military honors will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood IL.
