Stanley E. "Papa" Jungles
91, late of Lockport, passed away Thursday, October 06, 2011 at his home. Born in Joliet, to the late Harlow and Gertrude (nee Bump) Jungles, and a lifelong Lockport area resident. Survived by his loving family; daughter, Donna (Jack) Ivezich; son, Don (Leanna); grandchildren, Diane (Mark) Stenson, Christine (Scott) Clavenna, Dan (Jen) Jungles and Jodi Pearson; seven great-grandchildren; a sister Shirley (Dan) Maffuccio; several nieces and nephews, and a special friend Estelle Radjenovich. Preceded in death by his wife Mary A. (nee Boyce). Stan was a WWII U.S. Army Air Corps Veteran. He was the owner of DyMar Industries. He was a member of St. Dennis Catholic Church, Lockport Golf and Recreation Club, Will County Farm Bureau, Lockport American Legion John Olson Post 18, and Co-Founder and first President of Lockport Little League. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Joliet Area Community Hospice or St. Dennis Pioneer Club would be appreciated. Family will receive friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton Street, Lockport on Sunday, October 9, 2011 from 2-7PM. Funeral Service Monday, October 10, 2011 with prayers at 9:30AM to St. Dennis Catholic Church, Lockport for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM. Interment Lockport City Cemetery.
