Stanley J. Jewula
74, of Monee, passed away Friday, January 9, 2015 at Silver Cross Hospital, New Lenox. Stanley was born in Chicago to the late Stanley J. and Bernice (nee Nowak) Jewula. Stanley was a self-employed carpenter that specialized in church architecture, building altars, and ambos. He was also a United States Army Veteran. He is survived by his loving family; his wife, Suzanne (nee Weber); his two sons, Stanley J. III (Katrina) and Michael; two grandchildren Spencer and Emily Jewula; a brother, Chester (Linda) Jewula; sister-in-law Josephine Jewula. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Roman Jewula. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Monday, January 12, 2015 from 3-8pm. Funeral services Tuesday, January 13, 2015 with prayers in the funeral home chapel at 9:30am then to St. Anthony Catholic Church, 7659 West Sauk Trail, Frankfort, IL 60423 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am. Interment with Military Honors at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
