Age 77, of Crown Point Indiana formerly of Chicago, passed away October 5, 2011. A Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp serving in the Korean Conflict and a supervisor at Kraft Foods in Chicago; loving father of Steven CFD, and Heather Shimkus, beloved grandfather of Luke and Jeremiah Dempsey, dear cousin of Aldona Cernicka and fond uncle of Michael Shimkus. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Sunday, October 9 20011 from 3pm until time of funeral service at 8pm in the funeral chapel.
