STANLEY P. GREEN

Age 84, passed away, Monday, September 10th , 2018 at Franciscan Health in Dyer IN.

Stanley is survived by his loving family, children, Diane (Kevin Shalkiewicz) Green, Pamela Kowalski, Susan (Jim) Corbett, siblings, Coleene Morrison, Ronald (Laurel) Green, Shirley Daniels, grandchildren, Brian Green, Emily Kowalski, Michael Kowalski, Hayley Corbett and Thomas Corbett.

Stanley was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy & Lenora Green (Mansfield), wife, Ramona Green (Dyker), daughter, Kathy Green, siblings, Wayne Green, Wayland “Shorty” Green, Romaine Ray and Ada Ruby Green.

Stanley was a United States Army Veteran and a member of the American Legion. He retired from the Sante Fe railroad after 37 years of service. Stanley was an avid bowler and worked at Flossmoor Country Club after his retirement.

Family will receive friends Thursday, September 20th, 2018 from 3:00 PM until time of funeral service at 6:00 PM at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451. Interment will be private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
