Age 102 of New Lenox, passed away on Monday, June 22nd, 2015 at home in New Lenox.
Stella is survived by her loving family, children, Raymond McKay, Barbara Carchedi, grandchildren, Pauline (Rory) Martin, Ray (Debra) McKay, Kellie (Kevin) Killam, Christine (James) Ulbricht, Joseph Carchedi and 11 great grandchildren.
Stella was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph & Barbara Karvelis (Budus), husband, Allen W. McKay, siblings, Anna Warneke, Albert Karvelis, Marion Wallace, Stanley Karvelis and daughter-in-law Darlene McKay.
Stella was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in New Lenox.
Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451on Friday, June 26th, 2015 from 9:00 AM until time of prayer service at 10:30 AM and then to St. Jude Catholic Church, 241 West 2nd Avenue, New Lenox, IL 60451 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM.
