Stephanie is survived by her loving family, children, Jane Schutte’, James Jachna, Janice (Larry) Parchem, Jeffery (Susan) Jachna, grandchildren, Scott (Jessica Demko) Rajzer, Stephen (Teresa) Rajzer, Sara (Patrick) Heusing, Edward (Chance Gee) Rajzer Jr, Nicole (Andrew Mann) Schutte’, William (Jennifer) Schutte’, Ryan (Lisa Ridgely) Elliott, Jeremiah (Lisa Cramer) Jachna, Abbie (Brian) Ball, Kimberly (Gregory) Huelsman, Lauren (David) Pammer, Joshua Jachna, Julia Jachna, great grandchildren, Peyton Rajzer, Paige Rajzer, Nicholas Rajzer, Callie Rajzer, Alison Rajzer, Emily Rajzer, Clayton Heusing, Colin Heusing, Cainen Heusing, Corbin Heusing, Zinnia Termini, Kaelyn Ball Brendyn Ball, Jameson Huelsman, Colette Huelsman, Ryan Pammer, Nora Pammer, Evan Pammer, Jalene Jachna, McKenzie Enright, Annabelle Jachna and numerous nieces and nephews.
Stephanie was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Jachna whom she married on September 10, 1949 in Chicago, parents, Andrew & Balbina Pudlo (Wojtowicz), siblings, Eugene, Helen, Stanley, Edmond, Edward, Theodore, daughter in-law, Nancy Jachna and great grandson Jeffery A Jachna II.
Stephanie was a graduate of Assumption BVM and St. Louis Ann Academy both in Chicago. She studied beauty culture after high school and worked as a hair stylist for over 70 years. Stephanie was an avid golfer, award winning quilter and greatly enjoyed traveling. She donated her time and talents thru volunteer work for the Civil defense in the 1960’s, American Red Cross and St. Jude Trojans in the 1980’s.
Family will receive friends at St. Jude Catholic Church, 241 West 2nd Avenue, New Lenox, IL 60451 on Monday, December 18th, 2023 from 10:00 AM until time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to Lightways Hospice would be greatly appreciated
