Steven E. Kenning
March 4th 1953 – July 20th 2021
Steven E. Kenning, 68, passed peacefully on July 20th, 2021 in his home in Frankfort surrounded by his children. He is preceded in death by his parents Edward and Glikeria Black and his wife, Judy Kenning (Brackins). He is survived by his four children and four grandchildren Michael Perley (Megan Deaville), Matthew (Pei) Kenning and grandchildren Natalie Quach, Kendrick and Connor, Angela (John) Krebsbach and grandson Preston and James Perley (Charles Rafferty); and 3 siblings Wayne (Faye) Kenning, Caroline Kenning and Kenneth Kenning.
Steve was known and loved by everyone for his candor, ability to find a lesson to be learned in any situation, desire to see his children and grandchildren succeed and his hilarious quotes/sayings. Steve was an engineer, although not by formal education, with a unique ability to problem solve, fix equipment and identify creative solutions across multiple industries. His work ethic and tenacity were unmatched. Steve was a fairly private man but for those who were fortunate enough to make it into his circle, he loved them fiercely, was extremely loyal and would do anything for them.
At his request, there will not be a formal memorial service. However, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
