STEVEN G. MICHENER

Age 49 of Mokena, passed away suddenly on Friday, July 24th, 2015 in Lodi Township, WI.

Steve is survived by his loving family, wife, Mary Michener (Cosgrove), former wife, Linda, children, Hanna Michener, Jack Michener, step children, Liam Markham, Matthew Markham, Katie Markham, siblings, Clay (Terri) Michener, Mary Beth Roeda, Valerie (Tom) Woodcock, Sarah Vance and numerous nieces and nephews.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, William & Elizabeth Michener (St. Aubin).

Steve attended St. Mary's grade school in Mokena and graduated from Carl Sandburg High School in Orland Park. He had a lifelong passion for music which he shared with his children and step children.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, July 30th, 2015 at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral service, Friday, July 31st, 2015 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 AM and then to St. Jude Catholic Church, 241 West 2nd Avenue, New Lenox, IL 60451 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM.
