Age, 81 of Elwood formerly of Chicago, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2016. Loving wife of the late Edward Vaughn Sr.; beloved mother of Edward "Duke" (Herminia) Vaughn Jr., Michael (Jodie) Vaughn, Mary (Larry) Combs and Brian (Cathy) Vaughn; dear daughter of the late Gerard and late Deneige (nee Ayotte) Doucet Sr.; dearest sister of Robert (Marylou) Doucet, Doris (John) Tracy, Late Gerald (late Ellie) Doucet, late Paul (late Pat) Doucet, late Rene Doucet and the late Jacqueline Doucet; cherished grandmother of Patricia (Roy) Ramirez, Jason Vaughn, Brittani Vaughn, Kellie Tuley (John), Jordan Vaughn, Hunter Vaughn, Samantha Vaughn and Nathan Combs; proud great grandmother of Ryan Ramirez, Johnny Tuley and Jocelyn Tuley and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Thursday, March 24, 2016 from 3:00PM until 9:00PM. Funeral service on Friday, March 25, 2016 at 11:00AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
