Thomas J. Hinsdale
Age 63, a resident of Mokena formerly of Westchester, passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2020. Loving husband of Carolyn Hinsdale (Kloos); beloved son of Janice (Gorman) and the late Benjamin Hinsdale; dearest father of Patrick (Lisa) Hinsdale, Katie (Kevin) Plankinton, George Hinsdale and Ryan Hinsdale; fond brother of Sr. Maryann Hinsdale,IHM, Dr. James (Bonnie) Hinsdale, Bill (Norma) Hinsdale, Timothy Hinsdale, Joan Hinsdale, Therese (Lee) Block, late Margaret (Alan) Pometta, Michael (Moira) Hinsdale, Matthew (Nancy) Hinsdale and John (Margie) Hinsdale; cherished grandchildren Grace, Peter, Isabel and Bruce; also many nieces, nephews, brother –in-laws and sister-in-laws. Thomas was the President of G.E. Kloos Material in Blue Island. He also worked for Motorola selling the first portable cellular device in the Chicagoland area. He was a member of the Lions Club, Knights of Columbus, a former Village of Westchester Trustee, a firefighter for the Village of Westchester and former owner of Mrs. O’Brien’s Pub in Oak Forest. Family will receive friends, at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Friday, February 7th, 2020 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Funeral service, Saturday, February 8th, 2020 prayers in the funeral home chapel at 10:45AM leaving for St. Mary Catholic Church, Mokena for an 11:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment, St. Mary Cemetery, Mokena. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Providence Catholic High School - Scholarship Fund in memory of Thomas Hinsdale
