37, of New Lenox, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2012 in San Antonio, Texas. Survived by his loving family; his mother, Loretta (nee Peterson) Grenchik; a brother, Jeff (Amy) Grenchik; sisters, Karen (Steve) Vitanovec and Jennifer Grenchik; a niece Bailee Vitanovec and a nephew Ty Vitanovec; his father, Carl Grenchik; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by his maternal grandparents the Rev. Henry and Marion Peterson, paternal grandparents Joseph and Lillian Grenchik and his nieces and nephew Grace, Bree, Alli and Stephen Vitanovec. Tom coached softball for NLGSA for many years and was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church, New Lenox. In Lieu of flowers memorial donations to St. Jude Catholic Church, New Lenox or Stavanger Lutheran Church, Seneca would be appreciated. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451 on Friday, November 16, 2012 from 3-8PM. Funeral Service Saturday, November 17, 2012 with prayers at 9:30AM to St. Jude Catholic Church, New Lenox for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM. Interment Stavanger Cemetery, Seneca, IL.
