TOBEN A. VIEHWEG

Age 63, of Frankfort, passed away Wednesday, March 26th, 2025 at Palos Community Hospital in Palos Heights.

Toben is survived by his loving family, wife, Tracie Viehweg (Swann), children, Tara (Nathan) Jungels, Zachary (fiancée Carly Norman) Viehweg, siblings, Stephan (Jan) Viehweg, Jaime (Emily) Viehweg, Wayne (Silke) Viehweg, nieces and nephews, Bryce, Blaire, Kendall, Sydney, Rachel Amber and Cody.

Toben was preceded in death by his parents, Roger & Loraine Viehweg (Eisentraut).

Toben was an Eagle Scout and Scout Leader of Troop #237 in Frankfort Square for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman and greatly enjoyed camping, hiking and canoeing.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Saturday, April 19th, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Interment will be held immediately following the visitation at St. John’s Cemetery, Mokena IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Rett Syndrome Association of Illinois (rettillinois.org) would be greatly appreciated.
