Verajane Lulkowski

 Verajane Lulkowski (née Schrein) age 86, of Tinley Park, IL, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 6, 2024. Verajane is survived by her loving family, granddaughter Elizabeth Wyllie (Lulkowski) and great grandchildren Brooklynn Bakse, Charles “Cj” Wyllie, Clara Wyllie, and Josey Wyllie. 

 Verajane was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Lulkowski, and son Steven “Luke” Lulkowski. Verajane, along with her husband Marvin, were the founders of VerMars Alaskan Malamutes beginning in the 1960’s. She went on to become a renowned producer of many AKC Champions. Her unique passion and dedication for the breed helped to mentor and inspire many others. The VerMars legacy continues in some of today's top AKC Champions. Her presence will be truly missed. 

 The family will receive friends for a Celebration of Life Memorial to be held at Tinley Bowl 7601 183rd St, Tinley Park, IL 60477 on Saturday, September 21, 2024 between the hours of 12:00pm and 3:00pm. Interment will be private.
