Vicki Lynn Cantwell

Vicki L. Cantwell, age 53, passed away on October 23rd, 2021 at Joliet Area Community Hospice with her family by her side.

Vicki is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Edward Cantwell; children, Ryan (Elizabeth) Cantwell and Becki (Ed) Cochran; and her beloved mother Kathy (fiancé Ken) Sidenstick.

She is preceded in death by her father Gerald Sidenstick; and her sister Geri Lynn Kratochvil.

Vicki was a great horsewoman and loved all animals. In her time, she had many animals including alpaca, turkeys, chickens, and at one point a tortoise. Vicki loved her children and would always put her family first. She was an incredible cook and no one could ever leave her home hungry. Vicki was a Christian woman with a strong faith in God. She could take on any project and would lend a helping hand to anyone who asked. She had a great sense of humor, and no matter what situation she always had an optimistic outlook and had a knack for finding a way to get anything done. Vicki was a loving person and will be miss by all that knew her.

Services for Vicki will be held on Saturday, October 30th, 2021 at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, in New Lenox, IL with a visitation from 12pm until the time of service at 4pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Lightways Hospice would be appreciated.
