Walter "Wally" Joseph Pasternak

74, of New Lenox, formerly of Chicago, passed away surrounded by his loving family at Lightways Hospice in Joliet, IL. Cherished and eldest son of the late Joseph M. and the late Wanda C. Pasternak (Klimacz). Treasured and beloved brother of Joe (Janie) Pasternak, Judy (Dan) Maruszak, the late Denny Pasternak, and Marian (Jim) Biesadecki. Loved uncle of Jacklyn (James), the late Dennis John, Jen, Anita (Mike), Jason, Laura (Bryan), Chrissy (Don), Amber (Alex), and Brittany (Matt). Adored great uncle of Lexi, Donny, Max, Julia, Sophie, Halina, Jillian, Emma, and Ellie. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, aunts, and uncles. Wally will be remembered as an angel on earth, defying the impossible. He was filled with love, compassion, and caring his entire life. His family will miss him dearly. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 1, 2023, at St. Jude Catholic Church, New Lenox, IL from 10:00am until time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am.
