Wanda K. Rynkar (nee Klave)
86, of Frankfort, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Franciscan St. James, Chicago Heights. Wanda was born in Chicago to the late Max and Janina "Jane" (nee Konopczynski) Klave and lived in the south suburbs most of her life. Beloved wife of the late John H. Rynkar; loving mother of Linda (Bob) Farmer, Janet (the late E.J.) Harper, John F. Rynkar, Cheryl Kennelly, Brian Rynkar and Gary (Lily) Rynkar; cherished grandmother of eight and great grandmother of 7; dear sister of Maxine (the late Frank) Rynkar; fond aunt of Denise Rynkar, Gail Gallo and several other nieces and nephews; dear cousin of many. Wanda started an Al-Anon group in the 1960's, and learned to oil paint while in her 70's. She enjoyed crafts, quilting, crochet and especially sending cards to her family and friends for every occasion. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Wanda's name to Vitas Hospice,8525 West 183rd Street, Suite M, Tinley Park, IL 60487 Attn: Darlene Murray or MADD would be appreciated. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort Il 60423 on Saturday May 30, 2015 from 3:00PM until 7:00PM with a Funeral Service at 4:00PM. Interment will be private at Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL.
