Age 70, a resident of New Lenox, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021 at his home
surrounded by his loving family. Devoted husband of Rebecca Lewandowski (Hahn); loving
father of Kristie Maltais, Michelle (Mark) Snyder, Daniell (Jeremy) Gorman, and Wayne
“Spanky” (Candace Luther) Lewandowski; beloved son of Joyce and the late Clarence
Lewandowski; cherished grandfather of Garret, Amber, Laci, Cory, Brenden, McKenna, Amber, Anthony, Jaxon, Corey, Seth, and Aiden. Great-grandfather of Emma, Emerald, Ashton, and Addylinn. Dear brother of Karen, Donna (late Bob), Diane (Larry), Joyce, Todd, and the late Jamie. Wayne was a member of the IBEW Union Local #176. The family will receive friends at Ignite Christian Church, 1180 1st Street Braidwood, IL 60408 on Friday, January 15, 2021 from 3-8 PM. Funeral service Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 11:00 AM. Interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Joliet. WEARING FACE MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING ARE MANDATORY FOR ALL IN ATTENDANCE. In honor of Wayne, the family is asking that you please dress in your casual sports attire on Friday.
