Wendell L. “Butch” Bormet 

Age 76 0f LaPorte, IN, formerly of Mokena, IL passed away peacefully on Christmas Eve morning surrounded by family. Wendell was born in Joliet, IL to the late Vernon and Alice (nee Kochel) Bormet. 

Loving father of Sean (Teri) Bormet and Ryan (Meg) Bormet; cherished grandfather of Zoë Bormet, Bennett Bormet, and Lucille Bormet; dear brother of Carolyn (Floyd) Combes, the late Warren (Gloria) Bormet, Wilbur Bormet, Wayne Bormet and the late Frances (late Jim) Ezell; loved uncle, cousin, and friend of many. 

Wendell was a man of few words but full of meaning. He was known for his humor, kindness, and dedication as a son, brother, uncle, father, grandfather, and friend. He was a master plumber, race car driver, and a passionate youth wrestling and football coach. Wendell will be greatly missed, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
