WILLIAM J. MIX

Age 88, of Frankfort formerly of Chicago passed away on Saturday, February 6th, 2016 at St. James Hospital in Chicago Heights.

William is survived by his loving family, wife, Rosemary Mix (Andrzejewski), children, Carrie (Archie) VanDyke, Dave Mix, Dan (Terri) Mix, Melody (Barry) Wolfinsohn, Andy (Cris) Mix, nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

William was preceded in death by his parents, Willard & Florence Mix (Daniels) and son Bobby Mix.

William was a WWII Navy Veteran and retired from the Teamsters Union Local #710 as a truck driver.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 11th, 2016 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423. Funeral Friday, February 12th, 2016 at 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Interment, Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood.
